Finding Love...With the Help of Java

Java + Resin + MS SQL = eHarmony.

With nearly 1.5 million unique visitors this past June, making it the Web's tenth most popular dating site, eHarmony is an unusual example of how Java is helping people get hitched.


Custom-built with enterprise Java tools and running on Resin, eHarmony is a site - founded by Neil Warren, a Pasadena psychologist - that uses a series of algorithms to compare a user's profile with the profiles of the other 900,000 or so active users and generates a list of potential love matches.
